TAGLINE: Loyalty knows no bounds
Where it all began…
I guess it really all started back in 1977 in a cinema, somewhere up in Greater Manchester, perhaps the Walkden area… I can’t quite remember, I was three and a half years old, but where I sat hyper-jacked like a kid thats eaten a lot of sugary sweets and downed too much coffee (of course which, I’d had neither) while watching Star Wars – Episode IV – A New Hope.
It was the first time I’d ever been to the cinema. To the movies.
It blew my mind, I kept standing up on the seats and shouting in glee at the screen. It was fantastic. Mesmerising. Inspiring.
I’d say now in retrospect, that experience has a lot to answer for. It was my first ever cinema going experience and of course, I’ve never forgotten it. We were asked to leave eventually because of the excited din I kept making, “disturbing the other paying customers” so they said… of course, this was absolutely true. But I had no concept of that or cared either way. I saw enough on that cinema screen that day that would stay with me forever.
That’s not to say I only make sci-fi and in fact, I think I’ve only produced/directed one so far… but as it happens, acted in a few.
We actually make all kinds of films and content. But that big screen experience all those years ago was the catalyst for what I love doing today.
We tell stories.
We make films.
Beneath the Lens, Beyond the Trend
Judson Vaughan
“Welcome to Dragon Egg Films, founded by me originally as a way to showcase and promote micro-budget indie films that we make. We’ve got good at making high-quality productions shot on micro-budgets. We love making films and as a result, we were asked by several companies and enterprises to create content for them too. As a result, we made more and more client-type video work as we continue to forge forward in both indie filmmaking and high-quality video work.
We tell stories, we make films!
Thank you for reading and checking out our site.
Warm regards, Judson.”

Jorge Pablo
Jorge has been working with us since 2014 as a Co-producer and also in one of the key pivotal departments that make a film, well… a film- the sound department. He’s often in charge of live location sound recording and the post-production pipeline of sound. A creative thinking and complex problem solver, he´s an important part of the team that we trust and always look to bring on as part of each project. He’s also an experienced project manager and AV Technician solving complex challenges in the broadcast industry within the corporate sector, working with high profile clients and their worldwide audiences.
Momin Afzal
Mo brings 23 years of marketing experience combined with a lifetime love of storytelling. A movie fan from when his uncle owned a video store in the 80’s (which came with access to films not entirely appropriate for a four year old), Mo’s movie education came via a revolving door of VHS delivered horror, sci-fi, off the wall comedy, and soul destroying dramas. As an aspiring writer himself, Mo scratches his creative itch penning short horror stories and, since becoming a parent, light hearted children’s stories through which he hopes to impart a little bit of self belief.
As part of the Dragon Egg team, Mo helps us bring more visibility to our projects, seeks out partnerships and helps bring our stories to life.
Marek Dabrowski
Marek is a UK-based filmmaker and often works in tandem with us on our film based projects. He holds a foundation in Media Production, a Film Studies degree and asserts a good understanding of narrative. Over the years, Marek has worn many hats – from production assistant to production manager, co-producer, and self-shooter, thus gaining a practical understanding of how different processes work.
Marek has contributed to a wide range of projects, including short films, music videos, branded content, and documentary pieces. His work spans multiple cities from London, to a short documentary in Barcelona, a narrative short film in A Coruña, and a drone-spotting role on location in New York City. He’s also a skilled and passionate street photographer.
